London In Bloom
Updated: Mar 30, 2018
This March, we've had subzero temperatures, The Beast From The East parts I and II; and as I write this post we've had a traditionally rainy start to the Easter Bank Holiday. You'd be forgiven for not even knowing it's the second week of Spring!
Now, I absolutely LOVE Winter but this one has gone on for a little too long now. So last week I grabbed my lovely friend and fellow coffee addict Sarah and went in search of some Spring time spots in the big city.
Our first stop was Saint Aymes Chocolates in Connaught Village. A coffee shop owned by sisters who built their business on enhancing everyday experiences. Come here for the luxury chocolate; stay here for the gorgeous interiors and the 23ct Gold Cappuccinos.
You have two options if you want to follow our route. You can walk the correct, quick way through Hyde Park, or you can do what we did and get side tracked by pretty mews streets and then walk the wrong way through Hyde Park.
Eaton Mews North
When in Belgravia, you never know what you might find.
Next, we took a slow wander up Elizabeth Street. This is the place to go to shake off the winter blues. Pretty floral displays surround the boutique stores that sit among the likes of Phillip Treacy and Jenny Packham.
Mind blown by these flowers going through the window!
Once you've filled your camera roll with colour, stop on the corner at Peggy Porschen for a spot of people watching. Enjoy one of their sumptuous Insta-famous cakes and coffees in the Millennial Pink surroundings while you take in their incredible floral displays.
Where's your favourite place to get your flower fix? Let me know!
